Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. You can request a non emergency appointment through our website, or call either of our locations and speak with a receptionist. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency, and alert the team that your are enroute.
Emergency & Urgent Care
After Hours emergencies are handled by the Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as all holidays. They are located in Medford, OR and can be reached at 541-282-7711. They can provide all emergency services for small animals as well as the very important critical care and monitoring.
We are open six days a week and have a trained staff that is equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be events such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, severe pain, and difficulty breathing. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call us immediately at either of our locations.
Just like a human ER, we will triage your pet upon arrival. Most severe issues will be seen immediately, and more stable pets will be seen as a doctor becomes available.
